Rheostat controls brightness and dims the Red Dots intensity to suit lighting conditions. Select from among 11 continuous brightness settings. Compact battery pack, housed in the on/off switch, holds long life lithium battery that lasts the entire hunting season. Rugged one piece 30mm tube: tough design keeps optics and electronics safe from damaging jolts and moisture. 1/2 minute red dot: Tiny glowing dot doesn't obscure target. Better than lighted crosshairs when the target is dimly lit. Positive-click, 1/4 minute adjustments ensure unfailing repeatability and facilitate in-the-field adjustments for windage and elevation. Consequently, the scope always returns to zero.
